Dear Parents/Guardians:
I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to Student Leadership Academy and to thank you for choosing this school for your child’s middle school educational needs. Our focus at SLA is scholarship, leadership, and service. The school year has gotten off to a great start and we are almost at the end of the first semester.
In July, 2011, the Florida Department of Education designated SLA as “A High Performing Charter School”. We are very proud of this designation and have worked diligently over the years to attain this recognition. Presently, there are only 104 charter schools in the state that have achieved this status. Presently, Florida has over 480 charter schools in the state.
